The Sentinel's Mission

The Sentinel has gone through several name changes since 1884, and of course many owners and publishers. We are only the most recent, and hopefully not the last. We are so excited to be a part of this historic newspaper!

Our Mission and ultimate goal is to bring back the true meaning of the hometown paper. We will look for news from national, state, and regional sources that impact us locally.

Our Goal is to return to the tradition of sharing local news and events to the residents of Sheridan County and the surrounding areas. If it is news to our subscribers, it is news to us.
